Get Involved!

There are many ways you can help support our mission and make a difference for cats in need. Whether you have time, skills, or resources to share, your contribution helps create safer, healthier communities for animals and people alike.

Help to Fundraise or Educate

Frankie’s Friends depends on volunteers to support community events throughout the year. From fundraisers to educational outreach, we’re working to raise awareness about our services and the importance of spaying and neutering pets. You can help us spread the word and connect more families to affordable veterinary care

Foster a Cat or Kitten

While our focus is on low-cost spay/neuter and veterinary services, we occasionally rescue homeless cats in need of temporary homes. Frankie’s Friends is not a shelter, so we rely on caring foster families to provide love and attention while we search for each cat’s permanent home

Help to Socialize and Provide Company to Cats

As some cats wait for adoption, they need help adjusting to human interaction. Many formerly feral cats can thrive in homes after patient socialization and care. We welcome experienced cat handlers to spend time with cats at our Adoption Center—or to foster them at home—helping them gain confidence and trust

Care for a Cat Colony

Cats that aren’t suited to home life can still live well outdoors when managed responsibly. These cats rely on caretakers for food, water, shelter, and occasional veterinary care. If you’d like to learn how to care for outdoor cats or assist someone already managing a colony, we’d love to hear from you.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

TNR is one of the most effective ways to reduce community cat populations humanely. If you notice a stray or manage a feral colony, we can help. Frankie’s Friends offers trap loans (when available) and affordable spay/neuter appointments that include vaccinations and basic treatments. Together, we can keep outdoor cats healthy and prevent unwanted litters
